Accelerated Master's Program

Complete a bachelor's and a master's degree in a shorter amount of time

The Curatorship AMP allows IU undergraduate students in any one of the following majors:

  • American Studies
  • Art History
  • Fashion Design
  • Studio Art

to apply nine (9) graduate-level credits taken as an undergraduate student to the MA in Curatorship. The 9 credits that can apply are associated only with the following courses:

  • One course from the Curatorship Core Course list (typically 3 credits, but some Curatorship Core courses are 4 credits),
  • One graduate-level course in your undergraduate major field/discipline, and
  • One graduate-level practicum course.

Credits from the above courses may apply toward the hours required for your bachelor's degree. If the credits are also to apply to the master's degree, you must earn a "B" or better in each of them.

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible to apply for the Curatorship AMP if:

  • you are pursuing one of the majors listed above and
  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
